Four of the six Palestinian detainees who broke out of a maximum-security prison in Israel were recaptured and brought to trial at the magistrate's court of Nazareth late on Saturday.

Dozens of activists and supporters of the detainees who are being charged with acts of terror, protested outside the courthouse, demanding their freedom.

Avigdor Feldman, the lawyer of detainee Zakaria Zubeidi, said, "He is defending himself. I am representing him. He was not accused, and he was not found guilty of any terroristic act."
The six Palestinians used a spoon to dig their way out of the Gilboa prison in Northern Israel last Monday, exposing massive flaws in the Israel prison system.

SOT, Avigdor Feldman, Lawyer of Zakaria Zubeidi: "(Zakaria Al-Zubeidi) is handling a trial, he is defending himself. I am representing him. He was not accused and he was not found guilty on any terroristic act."

SOT, Raslan Mahajneh, Lawyer of detainees (Hebrew): "They submitted a request to arrest four wanted men accused of escaping from Gilboa prison. The intelligence and police requested their detention for 13 days pending investigation, and they want to charge them with planning security operations against the state, and we oppose these accusations."
