Democracy was supposed to lead humans to a utopia and it was supposed to fill the earth with justice and peace. It was rooted by the ideas of rule of God but due to lack of knowledge so called renaissance made humans go far far away from religion of God. As questioning the religion is still being promoted, criticizing it was also considered to be in the fundamentals of freedom. Islam has the answer for every question they have so they adopt a policy to hurt muslims and evoke a response from them to show to the world a different image of Islam. Muslims need to understand that they should equip themselves with knowledge and people of knowledge should not stop spreading their knowledge otherwise what happend to our christian brethren may happen to us.
