Over the last week 4 unknown objects were shot down over US and Canadian airspace. Today, senators received a classified briefing, only after lawmakers expressed frustration over a lack of information coming from the Biden Administration. Senator John Kennedy says, "We know some of the objects, others we think we've probably missed and we don't know what most of them are... We are united in confusion." Senator Tom Cotton says, "On the one hand, the administration is saying we don't yet know what these last three objects are and we don't want to characterize them until we recover them. But on the other hand it wasn't a threat. Both of those things can't be true." So far, US and Canadian forces have shot down 3 unidentified objects, following the US downing of a suspected Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina, earlier this month. None of the 3 objects shot down over the weekend have been recovered. Senators say they have learned unknown objects have been around since 2017. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says "We need to know who is inflating these devices, these balloons or drones and what they're using them for. And so that's why this office is up and running. It's been very effective." Capitol Hill Correspondent, Erik Rosales reports.
