About a month ago we hired a contractor to come in and put down laminate flooring in our living room and den. When they pulled up the carpets, they saw the original wood floors underneath and told us they could not do the install because the floors were too uneven. We hired a local company to come in and work on the basement / floor leveling for us http://www.kraussbuilders.com/ and then it was time for the floor finishers to step and do some magic.
