As we speak, Twitter's long-awaited layoffs are happening—and they're far bigger than anyone expected. Earlier reports indicate that about 50% of the 8,000 employees have been fired by Elon Musk. Furthermore, according to various reports, twitter employees who don't like Musk are forming inner groups and their plan is not great news for him. Furthermore, many of Twitter's employees have responded negatively to Elon Musk's recent decision to lengthen work hours. This shift has also left managers feeling overwhelmed and some have even had to take up residence in the company's headquarters because they now have so much extra work.
