Freely give, freely receive. A topic near and dear to my heart (and from the heart😉💚).
To freely give is to give without expectation of return. Giving for the sake of giving or for the sake of service. We do not claim to know what is true and best for an entity but we can try to serve with pure intentions and give of ourselves freely. We do this because we are One. We don’t see separate versions of ourselves, to serve the self or serve others is the same. We should have a strong sense of self worth and at the same time assume everyone else is just as worthy. Especially since we live in shadow land where sorrow seems to be a melody of existence, we can freely give in hopes of alleviating that sorrow and reaffirming that we are all worthy of love.
But to freely give, we must recognize the opposite side of the same coin, to freely receive. If someone wishes to give something to us, whether it be physical or not, we should consider that accepting service from someone is very gratifying for them and we shouldn’t try to rob someone of their experience of attempting to serve you. We don’t need to be so humble or have such a high ego of ourselves that we think we don’t need others assistance. As we open ourselves to flow, we open ourselves up to abundance.
What is abundance? I think your definition of abundance is important especially when it comes to considering things like “the law of attraction”. The law of attraction in my opinion is the first baby steps towards understanding the nature of the universe. When we feel abundance is physical things like money and objects, we can distance ourselves from true abundance. As we reaffirm that abundance is the ability to serve, having good health, the ability to communicate, etc, we may come in to a healthier understanding of what true abundance is. And with that we can easier give freely and not withhold our service for the sake of mentality of lack. Then as the quote says, we can allow things to easier flow THROUGH us instead of TO us.
