AAP vs stubble burning: Farmers explain whether the ‘bio-decomposer’ really helped

“When the time was right, they didn’t come,” said Om Pal Singh about the #AAP government in Delhi. “Now, after the #SupremeCourt or centre or whoever has rapped them, I am getting continuous calls from government workers…”

Singh is a farmer in North Delhi’s Tigipur village, growing paddy and wheat. On October 11, the AAP government began its drive to spray free bio-decomposer across 4,000 acres of farmlands in the city to tackle the issue of #stubbleburning – believed to be a large contributor to air pollution in the capital.

But has it worked?
