As per the latest news on times now, the IAF sends a helicopter to evacuate people from South India rain fury. The Indian Air Force evacuated ten individuals who were trapped in the middle of the Chitravati river in Andhra Pradesh's Ananthapur district on Friday.
By standing over a JCB, the IAF used a Mi-17 helicopter to safely evacuate people who were battling to preserve their lives from the Chitravati river's high flow and constantly rising water level. Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, severe rains of up to 20 cm wreaked havoc in three Rayalaseema districts and one south coastal region, killing at least eight people and leaving twelve people missing in the Kadapa district on Friday.
