
Banoffee Gateau
Ingredients
6 large eggs
125g (1 cup) self raising flour: sifted ( or plain four and 1 tsp. baking powder)
60g (unsalted butter, melted and cooled
Preheat the oven to 180'C.
Grease a 23cm springform tin
in line with baking paper.
Filling and Topping:
1 x 400g can sweetened condensed milk
75g unsalted butter
80g (1/3) sugar
4 bananas
300ml (1 1/4 cups) fresh or thickened cream, whipped
50g dark cooking chocolate, grated.
