GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU | Stop Doubting & Begin Trusting!
Hey! Welcome to another video on our channel. Today we would be handling the topic; There is a purpose where you are now/ Trust God to multiply what he has given you. One law that is of great importance on earth is the law of seasons. There is the time for spring, summer, autumn, and winter and each year these seasons do not fail to appear. This law applies to everything on earth, including human life. For every person on earth, they experience different seasons, although such seasons may not be as predictable as normal earthly season. In the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse 1, it is written that there is time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. There is time for every single thing man experiences on earth. What you are facing now and where you are now are only showing the season you are in. one thing about seasons is that they do not remain forever.
Before we go on, kindly take a minute to subscribe to the channel if you have not done so previously. It would enable you to receive notifications every time we release new and enlightening videos. Have you done that? Then let’s go on.
Where you right now do not determine where you will be in the future, so do not look down on yourself or limit yourself because of what you are passing through. When we study seasons we would begin to see the importance of seasons to different things on earth. No season is a waste; no season is without use. There are some plants that only produce at particular seasons so that as much as summer is important autumn is also important. How is this connected to the topic? The particular season you are now has its purpose. Your life is being orchestrated by God step by step. All things work together for your good. This is what should lead you to conclude that there is a purpose where you are now. The dry season is only preparing the ground for an abundance of rain. God has a plan for where you are now. God has a purpose for taking you through that place. You may not be able to understand it when you view it through your mind, but where you are right now maybe God’s wisdom over your life.
God does not just make you pass through seasons just for fun, he has a purpose in mind for it. The purpose may be to train you, to see your faithfulness, to refine you, or to build your relationship with him. It may even be all of the above.
The possible purposes for where you are now
• To Train, you: Where you are right now may be a place of training for you. No man suddenly arrives at the throne, if he has not been properly trained he would definitely fail. This is why adequate preparation is necessary to fulfill a purpose. When a person is unprepared it is usually obvious to his audience. God may be using the place you are now to prepare you for where you are going to be. I know that there is a possibility that the place you are now is very far from what God has told you and you may be wondering how that place could possibly be a place of training for you. Well, let me show you examples of people who were trained in the most unlikely places. King David learned leadership first from rearing and directing sheep. Just as he was able to protect his sheep, he learned to protect Israel when he was king. Joseph, while he was in his father’s house was only the second to the last child, he had no opportunity to learn leadership, however, slavery gave him that opportunity. While he was serving under Potiphar, he learned to manage resources and build finances, while he was in prison, he learned to lead and manage the most difficult set of people; prisoners. Through two different unlikely means, God trained David and Joseph for where he was taking them. What if that place that you hate so much is an avenue for God to train you? If God could use a prison to train Joseph, then He can use any place you are right now to train you.
• To build your relationship with God: For many of us, we do not realize how much we need God until we are in terrible places. Many of us have depended so much on our strength that anything that would make us rely on God would have to be something beyond what we may manage. The challenge you are facing in that place may be to draw you to God or to make you learn to surrender. It is in the most difficult places that we learn the value of a strong relationship with God. Just like clay goes through fire to be stronger, the same way your relationship with God becomes stronger even in that difficult place. Jonah was running from doing God’s will, he attempted to escape from God and was bent on disobedience, however, his experience in the belly of the fish drew him to obedience. At the end of the book of Jonah, we see that he had an improved relationship with God.
