The Battlefield 2042 Open Beta was nothing short of a complete and total failure for EA and DICE as BF 2042 looked like a buggy, broken, unoptimized piece of crap which is a shame because at it's core Battlefield 2042 was incredibly fun and has a massive amount of potential. But there is a certain standard I hold myself to and regardless of my own personal bias I need to be able to "Keep that same energy". I figured I would make a video because in all honesty in it's current state it is safe to say Battlefield 2042 SUCKS! The game runs terribly even on my 3090, the server lag and rubberbanding issues are rampant, and on top of that the game is littered with pop in and textures just flat out not rendering. Battlefield 2042 is doing a great job of holding to the Battlefield franchise's well earned nickname of Betafield because this game is no no state whatsoever to be launching in just over a month. EA and DICE have a long road ahead of them if they want this game to be anywhere close to ready for the Battlefield 2042 release date if this beta tells us anything.
