My group was invited to take part in a rhino capture to dehorn it. This has unfortunately become necessary in several game reserves to reduce poaching. Various people groups (not in Africa) believe that rhino horn can cure all kinds of maladies, and that's based totally on a lie. Rhino horn is essentially keratin, so eating it has no more value than chewing on your fingernails!
