Mazhar Barlas is a well-known Pakistani journalist. He says that the founder of Pakistan was a very progressive person. He was opposed to faith-based discrimination against non-Muslim citizens. He wanted all citizens to be treated equal. We are not a nation. We are a herd. Our teachers are selected on the basis of prejudice.

Nehru's India was secular. The RSS has made the face of India ugly. India does not give equal rights to minorities. The Dalit cannot buy a car. He cannot ride a horse. The RSS is promoting fanatical Hind ideas. By making the life of Kashmiris miserable, India is building 50,000 Hindu temples in India. It is changing the demographic balance in Jammu and Kashmir because Prime Minster Modi's dream is to see a Hindu chief minister there. Through the Simla agreement, Bhutto turned the Kashmir issue into a bilateral manner. Mr. Modi should have been tried in the International Court of Justice for having said that he supported the separatist movement in East Pakistan.

According to him, the World Bank, IMF, FATF and the UN are not based on justice. They represent a system of oppression. Pakistan will leave the UN once it become powerful.

Mr. Barlas is a columnist for Jang newspaper. He also regularly appears as an analyst in GTV Network's show called Red Zone. He earned his master's degree in Persian at Government College Lahore. Subsequently, he earned his second master's in mass communication at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.
