Liverpool are reportedly thinking about a January move for Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi in the wake of the English ace Harvey Elliott’s injury.
Despite the inactivity during the summer, Jurgen Klopp’s men have made a strong start to the new campaign – helped by the impact of teenage prodigy Elliott.
However, with the 18-year-old midfielder now set for a lengthy stint on the sidelines, the Reds could head into the mid-season market for Karim.
According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, the Merseyside giants lead the way for the 19-year-old German.
Already a goalscorer at the senior international level for his country, Karim has been catapulted onto the big stage in the last one-and-a-half year.
Last season the ace scored seven and grabbed nine assists in 29 Austrian Bundesliga matches.
Determined to build on that breakthrough season, the Munich-born teen has already hit six goals in the opening seven league outings this term.
