Learning the features of academic texts is the first step to unlock the
academic writing skill. It is important that before learning a skill, a student
must learn and understand the basics first. When students have absorbed this fundamental part, then it will pave way for students to succeed in any
academic subject areas.
This module will enable students to expand their academic inclination and
their capability to read academic texts. This is a great opportunity to practice
and apply what they learned that will help them build up their knowledge of
academic vocabulary. Most importantly, they will be able to improve their
academic writing by focusing on one language feature at a time.
