Driver's car pushes other vehicle over retaining wall into Route 9

No injuries were reported Friday in a bizarre crash in front of a hospital building in Chestnut Hill. From Sky5, a Subaru sedan could be seen balanced between a retaining wall and a Toyota Rav4 in front of Brigham and Women’s Care Center in Chestnut Hill at 850 Boylston St. Brookline police said it appears a woman in her 70s driving the sedan accidentally pushed the unoccupied, parked SUV out of the parking lot and over an 8-foot ledge onto the shoulder of Boylston Street, which is also Route 9. The SUV appeared to stop her car from also going fully over the edge onto Route 9. A passerby helped the woman out of her car. No injuries were reported. The crash is under investigation.
