An Armenian serviceman has been killed by Azerbaijani sniper fire near the town of Yeraskh on the Armenia-Nakhchivan border.
Clashes with Azerbaijani forces took place near Lake Sev in the southern Syunik region, Armenia’s Defense Ministry reports.
Uruguay will open an embassy in Yerevan, Uruguayan Foreign Minister Francisco Bustillo announced.
UPDATE - The Armenian Defense Ministry reports that one more Armenian serviceman died in a shootout with Azerbaijani forces in the Gegharkunik region.
