The Benchmark Indices closed firm at session highs with Nifty Futures closing up 132 points at 15,910. The broader markets outperformed the benchmark indices with 130 F&O stocks closing firm. The auto, realty stocks were in focus today. Tata Motors, Eicher Motor & Maruti gained 1% in trade after their July sales numbers. PI Industries was up 12% after PI Ind Announced acquisition of Ind-Swift Laboratories’ API business. The Acquisition of Biz for a consideration of Rs 1530 cr.
