Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young says there is “excellent news today” amid there being four community acquired COVID-19 cases in the state, with each being in home quarantine during their infectious period.
Dr Young said all the new cases were linked to the Indooroopilly cluster.
She also said, “congratulations to the people of Cairns” after it was announced its lockdown is set to end at 4pm today, however some restrictions shall remain in place.
