EPS67 Focus On I Am Strong and Sturdy

Focus On: "I AM Strong and Sturdy"

In this video you will find the pairing of an "I am statement" with coordinated movements to bring body, breath and mind into alignment with the message "I am strong and sturdy".

This week in our full length classes we strengthened our sway envelope (a set of muscles that stabilize us when standing or sitting) and reinforced this strength with the "I am" statement "I am strong and sturdy". Through various yoga poses and flows, we challenged our balance and strengthened our core, bringing more confidence into our steps. By combining movement with "I am" statements, it reinforces to our muscles and our minds who and what we are, and brings the message home so we can more keenly embody our strength.

Kristen offers classes of varying levels using the support of the chair for both seated and standing postures. Chair yoga is great for anyone who has limited mobility, cannot get up or down from the floor easily (as is required with a mat yoga practice) or for yogis recovering from an injury that would still like a practice while they are recovering. Kristen offers online classes, gatherings and private sessions.
