When you move your body, your circulation goes up - toxins get flushed out, and you start feeling fresh again
That's why it sucks when you have an awesome workout... and then have to sit in your office chair the rest of the day (and the next day)
Your soreness will go away faster if you get some movement in

P.S. Btw, soreness is never an indication of a 'good workout'. It mostly happens when you:
- do something new
- are dehydrated
- are malnourished
- lack sleep
P.P.S. In other words, you shouldn't be sore all the time. Only when you do something new.
P.P.P.S. Which is usually every 4-6 weeks, since that's how often you want to change your routine up. Do the same routine for a couple weeks so you get better at it, then switch it up.
