Isolated showers are expected to develop across the area throughout most of the morning producing heavy downpours at times. As we get closer to the afternoon hours, numerous showers and storms are likely. A few thunderstorms may get strong producing heavy rain, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. The heavy rain may lead to some street flooding.
The rain will keep daytime highs below normal for many areas. Highs are expected to climb into the upper 80s.
