Munazah Shakeel on “Lack of Mental Health Awareness in Educational Institutions”

Munazah is from Kashmir and is currently pursuing architecture from Jamia Millia Islamia. She is an avid reader and enjoys watching foreign movies. She loves to write and is exploring writing as a tool to create social impact.
By volunteering with various organisations, Munazah wants to educate and equip herself better to be a part of the solution.
Coming from a conflict zone, Munazah has seen voices being muted and opportunities being non-existent. Her dream, therefore, is to create a platform for the youth, especially for the women of Kashmir, to sensitise them to global and local issues, take social initiatives, engage in public discourse and express themselves creatively through storytelling, photography and art.
